Organization Policies

We require everyone to abide by the organization’s policies so that everyone can dance and work in a safe, healthy environment. The staff can refuse to offer products or services to anyone for any reason.

Health Policies

Everyone must stay home if they have a cold or the flu. They must attend classes virtually until they recover from any illness. No one can attend dance activities like classes at an unhealthy weight, such as being anorexic or way too obese, due to health and safety reasons. No one dances with any injured body parts, but they still attend dance activities.

Death, Illnesses, Injuries, & Liability Policies

We are not responsible for any deaths, illnesses, or injuries that may occur in our classes, events, or other activities. However, we will contact 911 emergency services if any of these hazards occur in classes. We will cancel classes until further notice. Everyone must leave the studio together as an organization for safety reasons.

Safety Policies

No weapons, such as guns or knives, or other objects are allowed at our business. Only law enforcement and security personnel are authorized to carry weapons. They must use them in accordance with the law. No drugs like alcohol, marijuana, smoking products like weed, or other unhealthy or unsafe activities are allowed at our organization. Anyone can bring a service animal as long as it does not cause harm to anyone at the studio. No one can come to our business high on drugs, intoxicated, or unstable, always. If anyone brings weapons or does other unsafe activities at our organization, they will be arrested by our law enforcement and security team. They will be banned from our business.

Presenting Identification in Our Dance Organization Policies

Everyone is required to present identification (ID) to verify their age and identity for safety reasons. Fake or expired IDs are not accepted at our dance business. The law enforcement and security team will check to make sure no one brings alcohol, drugs, smoking products like weed, or other unhealthy and unsafe items to our organization.

Lost and Stolen Belongings Policies

Our Dance Organization is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items brought into the studio or left on the premises. Participants are responsible for their belongings at all times, both in the studio and elsewhere.

Having Refreshments Policies

Refreshments, such as drinks and food, must be kept away from the dance floor in each class. Refreshments can be on the floor during events like parties. But some places we rent temporary space may not allow outside drinks and foods.

Code of Conduct Policies

No rape, stalking, threats, or violence against anyone in our business. Unprofessional relationships, such as romantic relationships between guests and staff or between staff, are not allowed in our business. Anyone can bring a service animal if it does not harm others in the studio's classes. If participants have conflicts with another person, a guest, or a staff member, they must report the incident to the owner. All conflicts are handled professionally for everyone involved.

Class Registration Policies

All class registrations are done at the studio, on our website at www.adultjazzandgroovedance.com/classes, or on the “Classes” page. No registration fee is required when registering for classes. Participants must be 18 or older to sign up for and take adult classes. Anyone under age 18 must have a parent or guardian to sign up for their classes. Registration will be canceled if fewer than 3 students are enrolled in group classes or if no students are enrolled in private classes. No class registrations are accepted after October, January, and June 2nd. No registration deadlines for participants who are attending drop-in classes. Sometimes we will accept late registrations depending on the situation.

Waitlist Policies

Classes and some other activities fill up quickly. However, participants or students can be put on the waiting list if any activities are FULL. If no payments are received 10 days after the payment deadline, participants’ registrations will be canceled. Class Attendance Policies
